1485-1827 AD (157-500 AR)
Engus' remains are exhumed from the Great Hall and are studied for genetic experimentation and cloning. The clone emerges from the Protoculture chambers calling itself Ingues. Ingues is extremely disoriented and is confused. His lack of complete memories and his vast powers combine to make his mind unstable.
A rebellion against the Cult of the Three-in-One is led by Ingues, who tries to wrest control of the Robotech Empire from the Masters. Seemingly insane with delusions of godhood, he leads a civil war, with the support of some of the Zentraedi that he has cloned, along with clones piloting advanced mecha of his own design that differ from the bioroids of the Masters’ Empire. Despite his technological superiority, his forces suffer heavy losses and are eventually forced to retreat. The aftermath of the civil war leads to the exodus of a fraction of the Tiresian military and citizenry, along with a portion of the Zentraedi fleet, all under the command of Ingues. His fleet is never seen again in this dimension.
Consolidation of the empire of the Robotech Masters. The Invid, after a burst of monocellular reproduction, declare war on the Robotech Masters. The Invid use a combination of organic and inorganic technology in their war machine. The Regis chooses to stay at the evolved humanoid form she shared with Zor; the Regent devolves to feel his emotion of revenge.
1893 AD (566 AR)
Zor's voyages deliver him to Haydon IV, where he has a profound encounter with the planetoid's artificial sentience, the Awareness, and realizes the source of the Flower of Life. Zor receives a vision of the Invid transmutation and realizes what he must do.
Zor designs and builds the starship that will come to be called the SDF-1 to carry out his Flower of Life reseeding program (hoping to return the Flower to the planet it had originated from, Earth), and backed by a group of loyal Zentraedi-begins his "quiet rebellion" against the Masters.
Zentraedi commander-in-chief Dolza forms an uneasy alliance with Zor, who has by now become hopelessly addicted to the dried leaves of the Flower.

Tyrus, like Ingues before him, is forced to flee with his followers, both Tiresian and Zentraedi, and commandeers Ingues’ original Mothership to make their escape. Ingues gives chase in his new Mothership/base and cripples the vessel as Tyrus’ forces begin their fold.

Each planet makes the Flowers mutate, becoming useless to anyone but the Invid.

In the threat of the battle fortress falling into the Invid's posession, Zor sends his battle fortress to Earth, manned by a skeleton crew of Zentreadi loyal to him. Zor is killed and Commander Breetai is wounded during the same raid.
