I used that to add to my campaign and came up with the SDF-1 crashing in Atlantis. It led to the SDF-4 Apocalypse's introduction into things and gave us a way to retire Animal after his falling out with fellow Road Warrior Hawk. I don't know where it will all lead, but it's something I'll explore sooner or later.
