During Lord Karza's rise to power over the Invid, he developed the four-armed Invid Stormtrooper. A devastating blend of power, speed, and firepower, the Stormtrooper proved to be the ultimate weapon of the Invid. It's limited numbers, however, keep the Invid from simply overwhelming the other civilizations of Rifts Earth.

Stormtroopers are usually found commanding groups of lower-level Invid. Squads of four to six Stormtroopers can be found working together during special missions deep within enemy territory.

  1. The forearm plasma cannons are unique to the Stormtroopers, with twin nozzles for each arm. Providing raw firepower with the terror-inducing effect of super-high temperature flame, the plasma cannons are an awesome weapon to behold.

    Secondary Purpose: Defoliation
    Range: 4000 ft (1200 m)
    Mega-Damage: 1d6x10 per dual blast
    Rate of Fire: Equal to Hand to Hand Attacks

  2. Mini-Missile launchers are found on each shoulder, each containing 16 mini-missiles, for a total of 64 mini-missiles.
    Primary Purpose: Assault
    Secondary Purpose: Anti-Aircraft
    Missile Type: Standard mini-missile types are available
    Range: Varies with missile type -- usually one mile
    Mega-Damage: Varies with missile type
    Rate of Fire: One at a time or in volleys of two, four, eight, twelve, or all sixteen

  3. The Stormtrooper may also engage in hand to hand combat.
    Attacks Per Melee: Eight
    Hand to Hand Bonuses: +3 to strike; +5 to parry; +3 dodge on the ground; +6 to dodge in flight
    Punch/Claw: 4d6 M.D.
    Power Punch/Claw: 1d4x10 M.D. (counts as two attacks)
